Colorkim assures that provided products comply with legal and Brand & Retail (RSL) requirements.
GOTS
Colorkim offers only speciality range of auxiliaries, approved by Control Union Certifications (CU) who is the first body approved to offer certification under the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) to be used on organic textiles.
APEO (Alkylphenol Ethoxylates):
The most important APEO or alkyl phenol ethoxylates for the textile industry are OPEO (Octylphenol ethoxylates) and NPEO (Nonylphenol ethoxylates) due to their detergent properties. APEO are usually present in cleaning agents, detergents and as well as other chemicals used for textile productions. Colorkim confirms that all supplied products are APEO Free.
Oeko-Tex Standard 100
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX is a testing and certification system for textile products. The tests for harmful substances cover substances which are prohibited or regulated by law, chemicals which are known to be harmful to health, and parameters which are included as a precautionary measure to safeguard health.
Colorkim chemicals are complying to be used in STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certified products and production facilities.
Zero Discharge Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC)
In response to the Greenpeace Detox campaign, a group of major apparel and footwear brands and retailers made a shared commitment to help lead the industry towards zero discharge of hazardous chemicals (ZDHC) by 2020.
Colorkim positive list: Towards Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) contains a listing of Colorkim’s auxiliaries that do not contain as intentional ingredients any of the 11 chemical groups as listed in the ZDHC commitment.
REACH
“REACH Compliance continues to be a Colorkim priority for substances and therefore, we are on schedule to comply with the obligation to register mainly speciality textile chemicals in the appropriate tonnage band by May 31, 2018.
